ENGINEER UP-SKILLING COURSE
IMI – LIFT TRUCK MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR QUALIFICATION (LEVEL 3)
This programme provides the essential knowledge and competence for service technicians working on a range of lift trucks. A programme that is suitable for someone who has experience with machines as an engineer, a knowledge of operating principals of combustion engines and/or a knowledge of operating principals of electric vehicles.
The training is delivered over 6 months and includes 5 x 1-week training blocks at our dedicated Forklift Truck training centre based in Swindon. The training is supported by E-Portfolio, a distance learning programme which has been specifically designed to support candidates throughout their journey to attain their level three qualification.
The Assessment of this Programme is through:
- Online multiple-choice testing
- Online written assignments
Components of the qualification are:
- VRQ (Vocational Related Qualification) Diploma in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair at Level 3
The programme is awarded by The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) at our accredited centre based in Swindon.

Training costs £750.00 per block plus VAT and registration, which works out at £3,750.00 +VAT for the qualification.
Lunch will be provided on site for the cost of £7.50 per day +VAT, which works out at £37.50 per block +VAT.
The cost of registration onto the IMI qualification is £250.00. However, should an engineer fail an on-line test and a resit is required, a charge of £5.00 per resit will be made to the employer.No Events
