As an international consultancy, with over 3-decades of experience, KBA has a passion to develop initiatives that motivate people, both operationally and strategically in a cost-effective manner. Armill Lift Trucks
Armill is an Essex based company who are a main dealer importer for EP Equipment and their range of Lithium-Ion forklifts throughout the UK.
Armill are a family business, with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. Armill Lift Trucks strive to ensure customer’s forklift trucks are up and running with minimal downtime, working hard for its 4-hour response time and achieve a 98% first time fix rate!
F-TEC continue to work with Armill Lift Trucks in the development of the new High Voltage training.
AELP
The Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) is a national membership body, proudly representing around 800 organisations. AELP members support thousands of businesses and millions of learners in England by delivering a wide range of training, vocational learning, and employability programmes. We support learners of all ages, in every community, and at every level of post-16 study.
Formed in 1988, AELP’s priority has always been advocating for the training providers that we represent, and offering a wide range of competitive member benefits.
CITB
CITB is the industry training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland, and Wales. It’s our job to help the construction industry attract talent and to support skills development, to build a better Britain.
We are an executive non-departmental public body in charge of our budget and activities. Sponsored by the Department for Education we are also accountable to government ministers, and ultimately Parliament. Our purpose is toupport the construction industry to have a skilled, competent and inclusive workforce, now and in the future.
UKMHA
The UKMHA is a not-for-profit organisation representing all aspects of the UK’s material handling industry, including manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and other stakeholders. The new association has been formed by the merger of the industry’s two most respected trade associations – the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) and the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA). F-TEC are closely associated with UKMHA as the training body created by the industry for the industry.
Harnessing the expertise from both organisations, the UKMHA plays a vital role as the single voice of the material handling industry, dedicated to creating an environment where all its members can prosper, and technical excellence is paramount.
ETA Awards
ETC Awards Limited (ETA) is an awarding organisation regulated both by CCEA and Ofqual, operating primarily in the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors.
With offices in Northern Ireland and England, ETA provides a flexible value proposition which focuses on delivering the broadest possible return on investment for our centres both in the UK and the wider international market.
ETA offers not only a range of solutions, including regulated qualifications in apprenticeship standards and frameworks, vocationally related qualifications, and technical certificates but additionally provides entry-to-work solutions that complement this offering. ETA also specialises in early engagement, embedded planning, and flexible delivery of commercial propositions for employer-delivered skills development solutions.
IPAF
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense – through providing technical advice and information; through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and through safety initiatives and training programmes.
IPAF is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members, which include manufacturers, rental companies, distributors, contractors and users. IPAF members operate a majority of the MEWP rental fleet worldwide and manufacture about 85% of platforms on the market.
The IPAF training programme for platform operators was developed by leading industry professionals. It is certified by TÜV as conforming to the international standard ISO 18878 Mobile elevating work platforms – Operator (driver) training. More than 150,000 operators are trained each year through a worldwide network of training centres. Successful trainees receive a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), a safety guide, a log book and a certificate.
IMI

Barnes Coaches
When apprentices are participating in their off-the job-training with F-TEC they are transported to and from the F-TEC training centre and the Village hotel by our transport partner Barnes Coaches.
For many years Barnes have transported schools on their trips, whether it is a 5-minute journey or a journey into Europe, as part of our extensive SLA ensuring our apprentice are safe, it is important that our apprentices are travelling with a coach company we can all rely on to provide the best and safest journey possible. Barnes have been awarded the maximum 6 stars by BUSK’s Benchmark scheme which promotes safe coach travel, and a link can be found here as part of the national guidance that local authorities and the Department for Education refer schools to.
