F-Tec Introduction

The Forklift Training Engineering Centre (F-TEC) is a dedicated training facility, offering an extensive range of forklift engineering programmes, including: Apprenticeships,  Advanced Level courses, Thorough Examination, Diagnostics, Safety, and more.

A joint-venture of the forklift industry’s leading trade associations, BITA (British Industrial Truck Association), and the FLTA (Fork Lift Truck Association), the training centre was created to address the training needs of the forklift truck industry. Working with some of the leading manufacturers in the industry and over 40 independent companies, F-TEC delivers training designed by the industry, for the industry.

National Apprenticeships

Through ‘pure FLT’ course content, delivered at our dedicated training facility in Swindon, F-TEC graduates are equipped with the skills to work with a broad range of materials handling equipment – both internal combustion and electric.

The Academy is focused on quality, integrity and providing the best experience to apprentices and the employers. The training is accredited through The IMI Awards.

Our training courses include Apprenticeships in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair at Level 2 (Intermediate Apprenticeship) and Level 3 (Advanced Apprenticeship), we also offer additional shorter courses in Welding and H&S Awareness courses.
