Level 4 Certificate in Diagnostic Engineering
Course Overview:
F-TEC, in collaboration with ETA Awards, has developed a comprehensive Level 4 qualification tailored to the Material Handling Industry’s diagnostic needs. This course aims to develop advanced diagnostic engineers with both the technical knowledge and practical skills to excel in diagnostic engineering.
The course is delivered over four separate 1-week blocks, each taking place at our specialized training centre in Swindon. Learners will undergo technical training, research preparation, and professional discussion assessments for each module. Assignments are presented through professional discussions, ensuring that participants have developed the required diagnostic knowledge and competencies.
Pre-requisite:
To enrol in this course, candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair
- At least 5 years of experience as a Lift Truck Engineer
Course Structure with Timed Training Modules
The course is delivered in four blocks, each focusing on a specific area of diagnostic engineering. Each block contains a mix of technical instruction, hands-on practice, and research, culminating in an assignment at the end of each week.
