– About the Course

This course provides essential knowledge on the PUWER 1998 (Regulation 6) and LOLER 1998 (Regulation 9) to enable competent engineers to conduct Thorough Examinations on forklift trucks and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).

– Who Will Benefit from This Course?

This course is designed for engineers who have been deemed competent by their employer and require recertification to continue conducting Thorough Examinations on their behalf.

– Course Prerequisites

Participants must have previously completed the PUWER and LOLER Thorough Examination course and now require recertification to maintain their qualification.

– Objective of the Programme

By the end of the course, successful candidates will:

• Be proficient in applying the PUWER and LOLER regulations to conduct Thorough Examinations.
• Understand their role as engineers in ensuring compliance and safety.
• Be recorded on the F-TEC register as a certified examiner.
