They are committed to ensuring all their engineers are trained for First Time Fix and their approach to training and development is quite unique in the industry.<\/strong>\n\nDave Archer, Managing Director, of The Forklift Company explains, \u201cWhether an engineer is coming to us for an interview or already works for us, we use F-TEC to undertake a Training Needs Analysis. This helps us identify the candidate\/employee\u2019s areas of development and from this F-TEC creates a bespoke training plan for the individual. We currently have 10 engineers and each of them has gone through this process and is undertaking bespoke training at F-TEC\u2019s dedicated facility in Swindon.\u201d\n\nOne of these engineers is Alex, who has been working for The Forklift Company for just over a year. With ten years of engineering experience and a level 3 craft apprenticeship, he explains what the F-TEC training means to him.\n\n\u201cHaving covered some of the subjects taught at F-TEC in my apprenticeship, I soon realised how fantastic their facilities are. The trainers and staff are passionate and professional and the training material and apparatus are exceptional.\u00a0 I feel very fortunate that The Forklift Company put me forward to study at F-TEC and funded it. F-TEC has given me a fresh pair of excited eyes and a new set of foundations that I use every working day to analyse, test and fit components and assemblies. I am lucky to be working for a company where we maintain a broad range of forklifts to a high standard. Alongside my F-TEC training, I have a team leader to guide me when required so I always feel I have support in all areas of my working day.\n\n\u201cThe F-TEC training I have enjoyed the most has been the Electronics course. It is the subject I struggled most to understand before F-TEC. The trainers are clearly very knowledgeable, and they ensure all of the learners\u2019 questions are answered. The trainers showed us as many electronic components as they could and showed us how to test them physically. This was useful because if the theoretical explanation wasn’t clicking it really helped put it into place. Once things then do click, you can’t help but feel elated!\n\n\u201cIt is down to the experience, dedication and passion of the trainers that make each day so effortlessly captivating for the learner. It has been very easy to make friends with the F-TEC team. Not only are they nice people, but we also have one thing in common – forklifts!\u201d\n\nKarl Baum, Managing Director, F-TEC says, \u201cThe Forklift Company really are leading the field in our industry by committing to and investing heavily in their engineers. This is reflected when they visit our customers, offering them a first-class service delivered with a friendly and professional approach.\u201d\n\nHe concludes, \u201cWe work with F-TEC because they are specialists in our industry. They work closely with us and our engineers to ensure all training needs are met. Their trainers are exceptional at getting the best out of people, and, as Alex explained, they go above and beyond to help the learners understand and overcome their individual barriers. All used machines come with a standard 90-day warranty and every customer has the option to extend this to either 3, 6 or 12 months at point of order.\u00a0<\/p>\n
