We have selected ‘Ben’, the independent charity and dedicated partner to the automotive industry, and Wiltshire Air Ambulance as F-TEC’s chosen charities.
The decision over which charities F-TEC supports is completely employee-led.
Our commitment to these charities will help deliver care and emergency response to the community.
ABOUT BEN
Ben provides a free, confidential helpline and support service, working with individuals to help them navigate through the toughest challenges, and empowering them to make positive, lasting changes.
Ben works with individuals to provide tailored support plans, case management and interventions such as counselling, life coaching and financial assistance. Ben seeks to understand a person’s challenges and identify the causes of the underlying issues affecting their quality of life, health and well-being. Online tips, advice and tools help people live and work well and prevent issues from developing into a crisis.
Ben also operates flexible, continuing care and support for those in later life, which is not dependent on an automotive industry connection. This includes excellent nursing, residential, dementia and respite care via its care centres in Ascot, Rugby and Norham (Berwick-upon-Tweed) and day centre in Coventry and ‘independent living made easy for the over 65s’ at its retirement village in Sunninghill, near Ascot, Berkshire.

ABOUT WILTSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a vital service which relies on donations to keep saving lives around the county.
The helicopter can accommodate a pilot, two paramedics, a patient and a passenger if needed. On board, you’ll find all of the equipment you’d find on a land ambulance. They also have specialist kits so their crew can provide the best medical care possible.
Their paramedics also use Rapid Response Cars to attend incidents by road when the helicopter cannot fly or if it is quicker to reach the location using the cars. The cars have the same medical equipment that is onboard the helicopter.
