Advanced Training

Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Automotive Studies for Master Technicians (Forklift Truck)

F-TEC have worked with The IMI Awards to develop a level 4 qualification that is dedicated to the needs of the Material Handling Industry, as of September 2016 we have a newly formed qualification that we are delivering at the Lift Truck Industry training centre in Swindon.

This is an Advanced Diagnostic Course that has been developed by the LT industry to provide the knowledge and testing to produce a Competent Diagnostic Engineer to be able to achieve “the first-time fix” which saves time and money and gives that image of skill and professionalism. This knowledge and competence will in turn enable your engineer to provide support and advice to colleagues within the business.

The course will be delivered over 4 weekly blocks at F-TEC in Swindon, whilst at the centre, the technical knowledge will be delivered and assignments set. As this qualification requires several assignments to be submitted, these will be Harvard referenced (1,000 – 2,500-word count each) so this qualification will require a lot of commitment from the engineer to successfully complete this advanced diagnostic qualification.

The entry requirement for this qualification is that either the engineer has a level 3 in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair or at least 5 years’ experience as Lift Truck Engineer.
